Planning a trip to the Tournament of Roses is an exciting journey, and we are here to ensure every detail is as seamless as the event itself. Whether you are curious about where our Grandstand seating is located or need specifics on our all-inclusive tour packages, we have gathered the answers to our most common inquiries below.

Can I change or cancel my package?
A $250 per person deposit is required before October 1. You can cancel for a full refund until October 1. After that, all payments are non-refundable.
Can I purchase travel insurance?
Yes, depending on the package, travel insurance can be purchased after booking. It is recommended to protect your purchase.
Can I request handicap seating?
Yes, submit your request as early as possible. Accommodations depend on availability and venue constraints.
Can I substitute another person if I am unable to attend the event?
Yes, substitutions are allowed.
Are there souvenirs?
Yes, guests receive items like bag tags, lanyards, programs, seat cushions, and a clear bag for game attendees.
What should I pack?
Warm layers, comfortable shoes, and earplugs. For float decorating: closed-toe shoes and old clothes.
What hotels are near the parade?
Diamond Travel offers three hotel options within its packages.
Does the package include airport transfers?
No, we do not include airport transfers. Your trip begins when you arrive at our hotel! Please check-in with the hospitality desk once you have arrived.
What happens if it rains?
The parade and game proceed rain or shine. Umbrellas are not allowed in grandstands. Severe weather may cause delays.
How do I connect multiple reservations?
Please reach out to our email to connect reservations. In the email, include passenger names and reservation numbers. We will do our best to connect these reservations.
Where is the Rose Parade?
Pasadena, California along a 5.5-mile route on Colorado Blvd.
How many miles is the Rose Parade?
The Rose Parade route is 5.5 miles long.
How much time do we have to view floats after the parade?
Typically 1–1.5 hours, depending on crowd size and security conditions.
What time do we leave for the Rose Parade?
The final itinerary is sent in December, but buses typically leave around 5:15 AM.
What items are allowed at the parade?
Food is allowed (no whole fruits/vegetables), and only small sealed water bottles. Many items like alcohol, large bags, drones, and umbrellas are prohibited.
Does the Rose Bowl Parade have bleacher seats?
Yes, grandstand seating is available and included in packages.
Where is the Rose Parade route?
A 5.5-mile route in Pasadena starting at Green St. and Orange Grove Blvd., ending at Villa St.
What time is the Rose Parade?
The Rose Parade starts at 8am PST (but you have to leave the hotel around 5:30am). The parade lasts approximately two hours.
Do you need tickets for the Rose Bowl Parade?
Yes, for the grandstand seating where our guests sit, you need a reserved ticket. If you do not have a ticket, you will have to stand for ~3-4 hours.
How long does the Rose Parade last?
The Tournament of Roses Parade lasts approximately two hours.
Can I add game tickets to my package after I have booked?
Yes, you are welcome to add game tickets to your package after booking. Please reach out to our email and we will help you add these tickets.
When do Rose Bowl tickets go on sale?
Tickets can be reserved in advance through the online booking system.
Can I use my own game tickets?
Yes, please contact us at Diamond Travel in order to customize your package.
Can we upgrade our game tickets?
Yes, upgrades are usually available at an additional cost. Check your package details or contact support.
Can I purchase just the Rose Bowl game tickets?
No, tickets are only sold as part of a full tour package.
How are the Rose Bowl Stadium seats organized?
The higher-seeded team sits on the west side; lower-seeded on the east. Seating sections and row structure are predefined.
Can I make other specific hotel requests?
Requests like rollaway beds or adjoining rooms are based on availability and not guaranteed.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, extensions are possible through your booking agent, but not for packages that include transportation.
Can I request a certain bed type?
Yes, but bed type requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Is there a charge for parking a car at the hotel?
Yes, the hotels charge for parking cars. Please see each hotel for their rates and details.
How many Day Trips do we recommend doing per day?
We recommend doing one day trip per day. If you do choose to do more than one per day, please check that the times allow you to get back to the hotel in time for the next pick up. We will not be able to help transfer you from one day trip directly to the second day trip.
Are the same Day Trips offered for both the 3-night and 4-night packages?
No, the 4-night package offers 8 more day trips than the 3-Night. The 3-Night package offers 3 Day Trips total.
Is transportation included to each Day Trip?
Yes, we offer transportation to and from each day trip from each hotel. We cannot transfer you directly from one day trip to another. Make sure that the return time is before your second day trip departure if you have two in one day.
What is the best way to book a travel package with Diamond Travel?
We advise all guests to book online through the diamond travel website. This is the most efficient way to book a reservation with us.
How do I make a payment?
We will process your card when the reservation is confirmed. On October 1st all reservations will be charged the remaining amount. If you book after Oct 1st, the card will be charged in total when the reservation is made.
Can Travel Agents book with Diamond Travel?
Yes, we welcome travel agents. Yes, we pay commissions!
When will the travel agent receive their commission?
Travel agents receive commission in January following the event.
How can the Travel Agent book for their guests?

How will I know my reservation was processed?
You will receive a reservation confirmation email within 10 minutes of your booking. If you did not receive an email please reach out to our email to get assistance.
